Join Our Team as a Locum Physician Assistant (PA) in Oncology - Greenville, SC

Our renowned Cancer Care Center is looking for a skilled Locum PA to provide exceptional support in medical oncology within a dynamic setting. Required Skills:
  • Valid Physician Assistant license in South Carolina or eligible for licensure
  • Experience in oncology, hematology, or related fields
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR or similar electronic health record systems
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage both inpatient rounding and outpatient consultations
  • Capable of handling complex cases including chemotherapy administration and bone marrow management

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience with bone marrow transplants
  • Knowledge of blood bank procedures
  • Experience with inpatient and outpatient oncology practices
  • Familiarity with hospital call schedules and patient triage

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in oncology or hematology
  • Previous locum or interim healthcare roles are a plus
  • Certification: NCCPA Certification required

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with on-call and weekend inpatient rounding as scheduled
  • Willingness to undergo credentialing process (estimated 60 days)
  • Must hold or be eligible for appropriate licensure and credentials in South Carolina
  • Travel expenses, including flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage, reimbursed at IRS standard rates
