Start Date

• 10/05/2026
• Contract length: 10/05/2026–11/20/2026 (7 weeks)

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00am–4:30pm
• Full-time coverage for the duration of the assignment

Practice Setting

• Clinic/Private Practice
• Occupational medicine
• Supports operations at a meat-packing plant

Patient Population / Volume

• Adults
• Client offers 16 appointment slots per day
• Daily volume may fluctuate based on plant operations

Department Description

• Evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses
• Develop treatment plans
• Manage work restrictions and return-to-work status
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing
• Collaborate with the occupational health team on patient and workers’ compensation case management

Support Staff

• Providers and clinical staff
• Provider will collaborate with the clinical team on patient care and workers’ compensation case management

Special Procedures / Skills

• Joint, tendon, and bursa aspirations and injections
• Joint injections
• Splinting and immobilization
• Suturing and suture removal
• Stapling and staple removal
• Vaccinations, including tetanus
• PFT interpretation
• DOT physicals
• Occupational injury and illness management
• Musculoskeletal injury management
• Prescribing and medication management
• Lab and imaging interpretation
• PT referrals
• Work restrictions and return-to-work evaluations
• Workers’ compensation case management

EMR

• OHM

Requirements

• Board Certified Physician Assistant
• Active Michigan license
• DEA required
• BLS required
• DOT/FMCSA certification required
• 2+ years of experience preferred

Credentialing

• Approximately 1 week
