Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) with a passion for occupational medicine to join a well-established healthcare team in California, near the San Jose area. The ideal candidate will have experience in occupational health or urgent care settings and be comfortable performing a variety of work-related medical evaluations and treatments. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and compliance with workplace health standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-employment physicals, DOT exams, and return-to-work evaluations
- Provide treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses
- Collaborate with employers and case managers to support employee health and safety
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
Qualifications:
- Certified Physician Assistant with an active California license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- BLS certification required
- Previous experience in occupational medicine or urgent care preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
