Occupational Medicine APP – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Location: Bowling Green, KY.
Company: General Motors
Start Date: ASAP
Type: W2, Ongoing Contract
Schedule:
• 25 hours/week
• Shift Times:
○ M/W/F: 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-min lunch)
○ T/Th: 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM (30-min lunch)
• Meetings:
○ Weekly medical/safety meetings on Mondays
○ Sprain/Strain & DIP meetings every 3rd Monday
○ Occasional “go and see” walk-throughs with Safety team
Role Highlights
• Provide clinical occupational medicine services to GM employees onsite
• Conduct job site evaluations post-injury and collaborate with Safety team
• Perform ADAPT exams and translate work restrictions into accommodations
• Mix of clinical and administrative duties
• Low patient volume: typically 0–6 patients/day, with busy admin/meeting days
Requirements
• Board Certified (NP via AANP/ANCC or PA via NCCPA)
• Active KY license
• BLS certification (AHA preferred; willing to obtain during onboarding)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in:
○ Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine
○ Must have treated work-related injuries (physical or chemical)
• Must be able to work autonomously without onsite MD/DO or APP support
• Experience with administrative duties and working with corporate leadership
Compensation & Benefits
• Pay Rate: $65–$80/hour (W2)
• Malpractice Insurance: 100% covered
• Paid Weekly

• No travel/lodging provided – local candidates preferred

2. Teams Interview with Regional Medical Director & Nurse Supervisor
3. In-Person Site Visit (approx. 2 hours)
