Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Opportunity – Women’s Health
Location: Roanoke Rapids, NC - Raleigh 90m

Position Overview
Seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to provide comprehensive women’s health services in a rural community health setting. This role includes a mix of outpatient clinic care, procedures, and hospital call while serving a diverse patient population with both obstetric and gynecologic needs.
The position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative care model focused on improving access to high-quality care for underserved populations.
Qualifications / Candidate Requirements
* Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) credential
* Board Certified or Board Eligible
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
* Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required for hospital privileges
* Eligible to obtain hospital privileges locally
* Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered care approach
* Commitment to rural and underserved healthcare
Position Highlights / Opportunity Highlights
* Mix of outpatient clinic care, procedures, and hospital call
* One dedicated surgery/procedure day per week
* Remaining days focused on outpatient clinic
* Four hours of protected administrative time weekly
* Average of 15–20 patients per day in clinic
* Balanced OB and GYN patient mix based on demand and referrals
* Group performs approximately 25–30 deliveries per month
* GYN procedures scheduled with 30–60 minute appointment blocks
* Multidisciplinary care team including RNs, LPNs, case managers, sonographers, and support staff
* EMR: eClinicalWorks in clinic and EPIC in the hospital
Call Schedule
* Approximately 1:2 weekday call rotation (goal to expand to 1:3)
* Approximately 1:4 weekend call rotation
Compensation & Benefits
* Competitive base salary plus signing bonus
* Annual cost-of-living adjustment and performance bonus potential
* Optional residency stipend from signing bonus (up to $2,500 per month)
