Position Overview

Join a well-established physician and midwife women's health group located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our team in Federal Way, WA.

Our Midwife team provides full scope midwifery care including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, GYN, annual exams, and family planning. This position is based out of our Federal Way clinic as part of VMFH Women’s Health. There are six OB/GYN physicians, 6 CNM’s and 2 ARNP’s based at this location. Midwives manage patients for hospital births and support in-house OB backup. Hospital culture is supportive of midwives and offers waterbirth, nitrous oxide, IV meds and epidurals. The weekly schedule is variable and includes two 8 hour clinic shifts and one 24 hour hospital/call shift in a 7 day work week.

We provide evidenced-based women's healthcare services to Federal Way and its surrounding communities. Ideal candidates would have prior experience in full scope midwifery, a passion for underserved communities and a desire to practice long term in the Federal Way location. We are seeking candidates who are hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated to providing top-level patient care.

As an employee of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and Franciscan Medical Group, you would be entitled to a great benefits package that includes medical, vision, dental and malpractice insurance coverage as well as a robust retirement plan. Market competitive compensation model.
