Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) Opportunity – Full Scope Midwifery
Location: St. Johnsbury, VT - Burlington 75m
Setting: Community Hospital Birth Center
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position
Position Overview
* Join a collaborative Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Midwifery team in a rural hospital setting
* Full scope midwifery practice including prenatal care, deliveries, postpartum care, and gynecologic services
* Team-based, solution-oriented environment emphasizing physiologic birth and patient choice
* Work alongside OB/GYN physicians, certified nurse midwives, and a women’s health nurse practitioner
Clinical Highlights
* Shared 24-hour call coverage for midwifery caseload patients
* Deliveries occur in a modern birth center located adjacent to the clinic
* Strong support for physiologic birth, VBAC, water labor and birth, nitrous oxide, and intrathecal options
* 1:1 nursing support during labor and delivery
* Spacious labor and delivery rooms

Qualifications
* Minimum of three years of experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife, preferably in a hospital setting
* Current Nurse Midwifery certification
* Vermont RN and APRN license, or ability to obtain
* Vermont DEA license, or ability to obtain
* BLS certification through the American Heart Association
