**Midwife Nurse Practitioner opening in Delaware**
* Located in ***Seaford, DE*** - 98m from Baltimore, MD; 98m from Washington, D.C.
* Full time, permanent
* Seeking a Certified Midwife will work closely with other providers to deliver a full scope of care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
* The Midwife participates in antepartum and postpartum care of expectant females.
* Care may include independent evaluation and management of both low risk and higher risk patients.
* A midwife may perform vaginal deliveries of newborn babies.
* Midwife may assist physician with complicated, higher risk deliveries.
* Providers support each other on Labor and Delivery, share call responsibilities and work collaboratively to benefit the health and wellness of the mom and baby.
* The Midwife is expected to provide primary gynecological care to women including gynecological check ups, family planning services and evaluation and management of medical conditions.
* Ability to perform standard office based procedures is expected.
* Provides pre-natal outpatient care to pregnant women.
