OB/GYN Physician Assistant

This position allows you to focus on OB/GYN care in an outpatient setting, supporting women through all stages of care while maintaining clinical independence with physician oversight.

Job Responsibilities

Provide outpatient medical care under physician supervision

Conduct patient assessments, including histories and physical exams

Develop and manage treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician

Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate therapies

Deliver preventive care, health education, and follow-up services

Coordinate referrals and connect patients to additional services (behavioral health, dental, etc.)

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Participate in care coordination, team huddles, and clinical collaboration

Support quality improvement and adhere to established clinical protocols

Engage with patients and families in a culturally sensitive, patient-centered manner

Qualifications

Graduate, from accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner training program.

Current unrestricted, Physician Assistant California license or Nurse Practitioner license.

Interact in a courteous helpful manner with patients, clients and staff.

Work effectively with a diverse population and positively in a teamwork setting.

Maintains a rapport with patients in a culturally sensitive manner.

Maintains a current CPR/BLS certification.

Maintains a current DEA license (if applicable).

Maintains a current immunization status for communicable diseases.

Cleared the background check.

Cleared the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) query
