Locums OBGYN Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Locums OBGYN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide full-scope women’s health services in Pendleton, Oregon. This position supports both outpatient and inpatient obstetric services and works collaboratively with on-call OBGYN physicians.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call:
  • Weeknight call as scheduled
  • 24-hour weekend call 1 week per month
• Shifts per Month: Approximately 10 shifts
• Practice Setting: Clinic and hospital-based

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal care, including routine OB visits and management of normal pregnancies
• Perform natural and emergency deliveries in collaboration with the on-call OBGYN physician
• Assist with Cesarean sections alongside the OBGYN physician
• Deliver comprehensive postpartum care and patient education
• Provide routine reproductive and gynecologic care, including pelvic exams and Pap tests
• Counsel patients on birth control options and provide contraceptive management
• Perform IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal
• Provide women’s health services to female patients across the lifespan
• Deliver full-scope women’s health services, excluding endoscopic procedures

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Oregon state license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and DEA required
