Locums NP/PA – OB/GYN / Women’s Health
Location: Pendleton, Oregon
Assignment Overview
- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Number of Providers Needed: 1–2
- Practice Setting: Women’s Clinic with hospital coverage
- Shifts per Month: Approximately 10
- Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weeknight Call: Yes
- Weekend Call: 24-hour call, 1 weekend per month
- Board Certified: Required
- Active Oregon License: Required
- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- DEA
- NPR
- Experienced NP or PA with midwifery and hospital experience
- Comfortable providing backup call coverage
- Experience in OB clinic and labor & delivery settings
- IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal
- Prenatal care, including routine OB checks and management of normal pregnancies
- Natural and emergency deliveries in collaboration with on-call OB/GYN physician
- Postpartum care and patient education
- Routine reproductive health services, including pelvic exams and Pap tests
- Birth control counseling and contraceptive management
- Full-scope women’s health services (excluding endoscopic procedures)
- Care for female patients across age ranges
- Assist with C-sections alongside OB/GYN
- EMR Systems:
- Meditech (hospital)
- Centricity (birth center)
- eClinicalWorks (clinic)
- Support Staff:
- Medical Assistants (clinic)
- RNs in clinic and hospital settings
- Support rotating OB/GYN physicians with clinic coverage and call responsibilities
