Exciting Opportunity for a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in Phoenix, AZ!

We are thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join a growing community health organization. This multi-specialty community health center has been dedicated to providing care to patients of all ages and income levels in Phoenix for over 35 years, and they are continually expanding their team and presence throughout Metro Phoenix. We are currently seeking a full-time Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.

Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Women's Health Nurse Practitioner is to deliver comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological healthcare services. This includes identifying, managing, or referring health problems and promoting health through preventive care and health promotion. Assignments may vary from routine to more complex, all executed with minimal guidance and in accordance with clinic office practices and procedures.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Graduation from an approved Nurse Practitioner school.
  • Possession of a Nurse Practitioner certificate issued by the Arizona Board of Nursing.
  • A valid Arizona Registered Nurse license.
  • An active Arizona Advanced Practice license.
  • A valid DEA certificate.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical methods and techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and the general public.
  • Proficiency in basic business English, spelling, punctuation, and computer skills.
  • Possession of a valid Arizona driver's license.
  • The ability to interact with individuals from diverse cultures and social backgrounds.

Nonessential Skills and Experience:

  • Three (3) years of experience in community health.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
