About the Practice
A well established and regionally recognized private neurology practice is seeking an additional Nurse Practitioner to join the team. They have two state-of-the-art clinic facilities and have an accredited AANEM neuromuscular laboratory. The Neurology Practice is Nevada’s first physician-owned outpatient EDX Labs to achieve exemplary status rating by American Academy of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
Physician Assistant Role Scope
The Neurology Physician Assistant provides coverage of outpatient neurology patients, with a schedule of both new patients and established cases in the outpatient clinic.
The PA provides customer service quality to patients, and participates in the medical management of patients, to achieve or maintain optimal health status, manage disease and reduce risk of illness. Engages in independent decision-making regarding the health care of patients. Works daily with the supervising neurologist on all new patient consultations. Reports to Medical Director.
Job Shift: Standard shifts fall on Monday-Friday.

Physician Assistant Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Two to three years of clinical experience in general area or in relevant specialty area
- Currently licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant in the state of Nevada
- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- General, Internal Medicine, or Neurology experience preferred
- ACLS/BLS - Healthcare provider
