Physician Assistant (PA)
Near Plano, TX

Overview:
Our neurosurgery practice near Plano is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to serve as first assistant during spine and brain surgeries and support patient care throughout the surgical journey. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule within a specialized surgical team.

Position Offers:

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • Competitive salary: $125,000–145,000 per year (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as first assistant to the neurosurgeon during spine and brain surgeries
  • See patients ahead of the physician in clinic and consult with the surgeon on findings
  • Round on hospitalized patients during on-call weeks
  • Manage medication refills for patients
  • Provide patient education
  • Assist with physician charting and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Active, current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in Texas
  • Minimum 2 years of surgery experience, with hands-on OR work experience required
  • Active DEA registration and current ACLS certification required
  • Neurosurgery or ortho-spine surgery experience preferred
