A highly regarded, growing neurology practice in the popular Detroit suburbs of Troy and Sterling Heights is looking for a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their team!

Whether you are an experienced provider looking for a lifestyle change or a motivated recent graduate eager to learn, this is an incredible opportunity. You will work alongside a supportive, collaborative team of fellowship-trained physicians who are highly experienced and comfortable with on-the-job training.

This role is designed with flexibility and burnout prevention in mind. The position starts as a part-time role (roughly 20–24 hours per week) with the opportunity to seamlessly transition to full-time as your patient load increases and your training progresses. You set the specific days and hours that work for you!

Why You’ll Love This Role:

  • Ultimate Work-Life Balance: Completely flexible days and hours.
  • Zero Burnout: Absolutely NO nights and NO weekends.
  • Mentorship: Exceptional on-the-job training for recent graduates or providers transitioning into neurology.
  • Career Growth: Clear pathway from part-time to full-time (if desired).

Position Details & Responsibilities:

  • Specialty: Permanent Neurology position.
  • Location: Detroit, MI Suburbs (Troy / Sterling Heights area).
  • Setting: Primarily outpatient neurology clinic with select opportunities to cover inpatient duties.
  • Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive evaluations for both new and follow-up patients.
  • Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with a premier team of general neurologists and specialists.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a PA or NP in neurology (or other relevant specialties), OR a recent graduate with relevant clinical rotation experience.
  • Active (or ability to obtain) a Michigan PA or NP license.
  • A strong ability to establish trust and rapport with patients and their families.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
