We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a growing Neurosciences team providing care in Neurosurgery and Neuroendovascular services. This is a hospital-employed role offering strong clinical exposure, procedural involvement, and a collaborative physician partnership model.
Position Overview
This role includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, with a primary focus on hospital-based care. You will work closely with neurosurgeons and neuro specialists in delivering high-quality, coordinated neurological care.
Schedule
Full-time
Monday through Friday
1:3 weekend call rotation
No night call
No travel required
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of neurological and neurosurgical patients
Assist in surgical procedures
Participate in neuroendovascular care and treatment planning
Provide patient education, counseling, and case management
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
Support both inpatient rounding and occasional outpatient clinic responsibilities

Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
Board Certified PA-C or NP
Active Alabama license or eligibility to obtain
Experience in Neurosurgery, Neurology, or related specialty preferred
Strong procedural skills and team-oriented mindset
Current BCLS and ACLS certification
