Job description Inpatient Neurology Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity Location: Phoenix, AZ Specialty: Neurology Employment Type: Full Time, permanent position Setting: Inpatient and/or Outpatient Schedule: Primarily weekdays with rotating weekends Remote: No Position Overview Seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative neurology team providing comprehensive care across the continuum. The APP will work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver high-quality, patient-centered neurologic care. Practice Highlights * Collaborative team-based neurology practice * Care delivery across the continuum of care * Leadership, committee, and quality improvement involvement encouraged * Opportunities for education and research participation * Primarily weekday schedule with rotating weekend coverage Clinical Responsibilities * Perform comprehensive patient assessments * Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic testing * Diagnose and manage neurologic conditions * Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments * Provide patient and family education * Monitor therapeutic effectiveness and adjust treatment plans * Perform minor procedures as appropriate * Coordinate referrals and multidisciplinary care Schedule Details * Full-time position * Primarily weekdays * Rotating weekend requirement Compensation & Benefits * Competitive compensation based on education, experience, and internal equity * Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans * Pre-tax savings options including HSA and FSA * Retirement package * Paid time off * Benefit-eligible position Candidate Qualifications *Acute Care Nurse Practitioner* * Master’s-prepared graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program * Current Arizona RN and APRN licensure * Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification required *Physician Assistant* * Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program * Current NCCPA certification * Arizona PA licensure Additional Requirements * Active BLS certification at start date * Active ACLS certification at start date * DEA registration required * Strong clinical judgment and communication skills * Ability to function effectively in a team-based environment
