๐ง Neuro-Trauma/Critical Care Physician Assistant โ Redding, CA ๐ง
๐ Location: Redding, CA
๐ฅ Facility Setting: Level II Trauma Center
We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA) with Neuro-Trauma or Neuro-Critical Care experience to provide expert care for emergency neurosurgery patients, including brain, neck, and spine surgeries. Join a dedicated team managing critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting.
Schedule:

10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM โ 5:00 PM)

Flexible coverage across multiple dates from Jan โ Dec 2026
-
No weekend or overnight call required
Key Responsibilities:
-
Management of 15โ20 ICU patients per day
-
Perform low/moderate risk procedures: laceration repair, IV access, fracture/dislocation reductions

High-risk procedures: G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion/defibrillation, paracentesis, chest tubes, central/arterial line placement

Collaborate with neurosurgery, trauma, and ICU teams

Utilize Cerner Care B EMR system
Requirements:
-
Current NCCPA (PA) or ANCC/AANP (NP) certification

State license for California
-
ACLS (required), ATLS (preferred but not mandatory), DEA
-
Minimum 1 year of neurocritical care, neurosurgery, or neurology experience

Clean malpractice history
