Job description
An exciting locum opportunity is open for a Neurology Physician Assistant in Lima, Ohio. This PRN role offers competitive hourly rates and flexible day shifts within a supportive inpatient neurology team.
Compensation: $110–$120/hr
Job Responsibilities
Manage adult patient population, including ~10% trauma cases.
Handle an average of 10–15 hospital-based patients per day.
Participate in code stroke response team.
Perform radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial).
Collaborate with a team consisting of 1 physician on-site at all times, 3 physicians total, and 2 APPs.
Utilize Epic Carepath EMR system.
Qualifications
Ohio License – Highly preferred (open to those willing to obtain).
ACLS Certification – Required
ENLS Certification – Highly Preferred
Working Hours
Setting: 100% inpatient hospital-based neurology
Weekend/Call Requirements: None
Skills
Ability to respond rapidly in code stroke situations.
Comfort with high-acuity patient management.
Collaborative team-oriented care approach.
