APP (PA/NP) - Nephrology Opening in Burlington, MA - Boston Area
Join our dynamic Nephrology team! We're seeking a passionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population with kidney disease and hypertension, including a large ESRD population.
Role Highlights:
- Inpatient Focus: Daily rounding on inpatient services with nephrologist oversight.
- Comprehensive Training: 6 months dedicated to nephrology training, followed by progressive independent practice.
- Opportunities: Potential for outpatient care and dialysis rounding.
- Collaborative Team: Work alongside 9 physicians and 1 NP in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient nephrology consultations.
Manage and monitor patients with various kidney diseases.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications:
Experience:
- NP/PA experience preferred.
- Nephrology, Hospital Medicine, or Internal Medicine experience a plus.
Skills:
- Strong communication (verbal & written).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Autonomous and team-oriented.
- Proficient in clinical recordkeeping and computer applications (Epic, Microsoft).
Licensure/Certification:
- MA Advanced Practice Provider License.
- NP Certification (Acute Care preferred) or PA Certification.
- MA Controlled Substance Prescriptive Authority & DEA Registration.
Education:
- Master s or Doctoral Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
