Full time
A tertiary care hospital in Johnstown, Pennsylvania is seeking a Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider to join its experienced neonatal team within a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This hospital-based role offers the opportunity to provide high-acuity neonatal care in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.
Position Highlights
• Practice in a 16-bed Level III NICU
• Hospital-based role with a well-established neonatal program
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, nurses, respiratory therapists, and therapy specialists
• Opportunity to perform advanced neonatal procedures including intubations, lumbar punctures, and line placements
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• Flexible scheduling with 12-hour or 24-hour shift options
Clinical Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive care for critically ill and premature newborns
• Perform advanced neonatal procedures and clinical interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop treatment plans
• Participate in neonatal patient transport and flight transfers when required
• Ensure high standards of patient safety and family-centered care
Candidate Requirements
• Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Neonatal Physician Assistant
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Experience in a neonatal intensive care setting preferred
• Ability to complete and maintain clearance for flight transfer physical
• Participation in neonatal transport flights required
