Amergis is seeking 4 experienced Neonatal APPs (NPs or PAs) to join a high-acuity Level IV NICU team in Hershey, PA. 🔍 Position Highlights
- Location: Hershey, PA
- Setting: 56-bed Level IV NICU
- Schedule: Flexible 24-hour shifts, nights/weekends preferred
- Start Date: ASAP (60–120 days to credential)
- Duration: Through 3/27/2026, likely to extend
- Rate: Negotiable + travel/lodging covered
- EMR: Cerner (transitioning to Epic 10/26/25)
✅ Requirements
- NP: Board Certified (ANCC or AANP)
- PA: Board Certified (NCCPA)
- Active or pending PA license (IMLC accepted)
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP (DEA likely required)
- Experience:
- NICU Level III/IV experience
- Ground & air transport of pediatric patients
- Procedures: PICC, UVC/UAC lines, chest tubes, LPs, intubations
- Must be open to night shifts (day-only candidates not accepted)
🧠 Responsibilities
- Manage 5–8 patients/day; up to 30 overnight
- Attend high-risk deliveries, NICU codes, OB traumas
- Perform procedures, transport critically ill patients
- Collaborate with MDs, RNs, and NICU fellows
- Participate in family meetings and care planning
- Orientation includes 7 shifts + EMR & transport training
