Job Opportunity: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
Location: Sylva, NC
A well-established hospital in Sylva, NC, is actively seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join its newly-launched neonatology service line. The hospital serves as the only facility west of Haywood County providing labor and delivery services and is the exclusive provider of full-service pediatric care in the region.
Position Details:
Setting: Inpatient
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shifts
Responsibilities:
- Rounding on newborns in the hospital
- Collaborating with an experienced neonatologist
- Average daily census: Up to 4 newborns in Level II Nursery/NICU and around 4 in Labor & Delivery/Mother-Baby Unit
- Call Schedule: Shared call

- 86-bed acute care hospital
- Comprehensive neonatal and pediatric support services
- Level II Nursery/NICU with respiratory therapists holding Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification
