**Certified Nurse Midwife Opportunity in Roseburg, OR**Service Area: 110,000Located 70 miles from Eugene; 95 miles from Medford**Position Details:**- Full-time, permanent position- Fast-paced OB/GYN office is looking for a full time Certified Nurse Midwife, primarily focusing on antenatal care, pregnancy, childbirth and the post-partum period, along with family planning and the gynecologic needs of women in a rural setting. - Full time benefits include: Full Time Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Life ins, 401K**Duties and Responsibilities:**- Provide direct prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum and/or well women patient services to low-to-moderate risk obstetrical and gynecological patients.- Follows established departmental policies, procedures and objectives- Follows quality improvement, safety and control standards- Will work on call**Minimum Job Requirements:**- Valid CNM certification and license- NRP certified for hospital privileges- Must pass pre-employment criminal background check**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:**- Active listening skills- Problem-solving skills- The ability to provide accurate, effective care- The ability to deal with emotionally charged situations- Excellent teamworking skills- Flexibility and adaptability- Caring and patient**Location:**- Southern Oregon has mild pleasant weather with an hour drive to access the ocean beaches to the west and mountains for hiking and skiing to the east.
