Pediatric Emergency Medicine Assistant Facility Medical Director in Austin, TX
Location: Austin, Texas
Position Details:
- Role: Assistant Facility Medical Director, Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Trauma Level: Level IV Trauma Center
- ED Beds: 10 dedicated pediatric ED beds
- Annual Volume: ~29,000 pediatric visits
- Shifts: 8- and 12-hour shifts
Facility Features:
- Dedicated pediatric ED, medical-surgical inpatient unit, and PICU
- Pediatric specialists including PEM-certified physicians, hospitalists, intensivists, and subspecialists (surgery, neurology, urology, ENT, GI, radiology)
- Advanced interventional and imaging services
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certification: ABEM/ABOEM/ABP
- Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship Trained or Eligible
- Proven Leadership Experience
