Med/Peds Practice Seeking a Physician Assistant

Seeking an advanced practitioner to join an Internal Medicine and Pediatrics solo physician in a practice with a family atmosphere. This practice is expanding to a larger space with room for three additional providers! Rapidly growing practice seeking an advanced practitioner who is looking to get in on the ground level during the initial phase of the expansion. The successful candidate will see Internal Medicine and Pediatrics patients for routine and complicated care with physician oversight. The physician treats a great many conditions in house, rather than just referring to specialists. Typical patients have standard conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, Asthma/COPD, thyroid disease, renal insufficiency and cancer diagnoses, as well as pediatric well and sick visits and patients with less common conditions. They also do skin biopsies, joint injections, PAP smears and do vascular and ultrasound studies in house. You will never be bored and will always be learning! Weekday daytime hours only except for limited, very low volume call sharing from home.

The physician integrates her faith into the daily practice of medicine. She strives to treat patients and staff as Jesus would, putting other’s needs first and striving to provide the highest quality of care possible with kindness and compassion. She prays with patients at times if the patient is receptive. Some of the staff are Christians and her current staff are quite conservative. Many patients are Christians as well. She avoids using narcotics and other controlled substances and the patients generally are aware of this practice style and in agreement. Patients are generally compliant and take great care of themselves.
