Job description
We are seeking a Weight Wellness Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our thriving outpatient primary care practice in a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility located just 45 minutes from Providence, RI, and south of Boston.
Compensation:
$110,000–$135,000 annually
Benefits: FMV compensation, sign-on bonus & relocation (negotiable),
robust benefits package, CME allowance, PTO, and retirement
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive weight wellness assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage chronic conditions related to obesity, including diabetes, hypertension, and metabolic disorders
- Offer ongoing counseling, education, and support to patients regarding nutrition, lifestyle, and behavior modification
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
- Collaborate closely with physicians, dietitians, and wellness staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation
Qualifications
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active MA state licensure
