Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Physician Assistant-IM-Geriatrics at Bremerton Naval Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. This contract position offers: - Full-time work schedule - Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - No weekend, holiday or on-call responsibilities - Comprehensive Benefits including Paid Time Off, Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance - 10 Paid Federal Holidays - Competitive Pay - Manageable patient load - Outpatient setting - Great opportunity to work with and adult population, who are compliant and respectful Job Requirements: The Physician Assistant-IM will have the following requirements: - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in Internal Medicine. - Successful completion of formal education and training as a Physician’s Assistant, approved by a nationally recognized professional body. - Vast knowledge of a wide variety of diseases. Supplementary skills to recognize emergency conditions in order to diagnose, prescribe and treat diseases and disorders and refer more complex cases and acute conditions to qualified medical personnel or specialty. - The ability to establish collaborative rapport with physician, nursing and other staff professionals in order - to promote and facilitate primary services. - Basic Life Support certification - DEA Company Overview: Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems.
