Physician Assistant (PA)
Waldorf, MD

Overview:
Our internal medicine practice in Waldorf is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive clinical care for adult patients. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule within a collaborative clinical team.

Position Offers:

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
  • Competitive salary: $110,000–130,000 per year (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed clinical assessments, including history taking and physical examinations, for adult internal medicine patients
  • Formulate differential diagnoses and develop evidence-based care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Manage and prescribe medications in accordance with Maryland law and practice protocols
  • Document all patient encounters, assessments, and treatment plans in the EHR
  • Provide patient education and counseling on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
  • Coordinate follow-up care, including ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement activities and adherence to clinical guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Active, current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in Maryland, or eligibility
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
