Minimum of 1 year experience in Primary Care

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Physician Assistant to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in Brooklyn, New York

Requirements of the Physician Assistant :

  • Must have an active NY State License
  • Must be Board Certified
  • Must have at least 1 year experience in Primary Care
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Russian, Polish or other languages is preferred

Responsibilities of the Physician Assistant:

  • Interview, examine, and diagnose patients' injuries and illnesses.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe medications and suggest lifestyle changes.
  • Stitch wounds, set bones, assist in surgeries, and administer immunizations.
  • Review and maintain patients' medical histories and records and record patients' progress.
  • Provide documentation for insurance companies.
  • Educate and counsel patients and their families.
  • Research the latest treatments, innovations, advances, and trends in the medical industry.
  • Conduct or participate in outreach programs, make house calls, and visit nursing homes to treat patients
