OFFICE HOURS:
- Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 8:00pm
- Friday, 8:00am to 3:00pm
- Saturday, closed
- Sunday, 8:00am to 8:00pm


COMPENSATION:
- $140,000 to $155,000 Base Salary, negotiable dependent upon experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
This private practice was founded in 2013 and boasts a provider staff of nearly 20 physicians and nearly 20 advanced practitioners. They work out of two convenient office locations and are supported by dedicated clinical and administrative assistants. The services of the Weimar office include primary care, dental care, mental healthcare, podiatry, treatments for substance abuse disorder, and chiropractic work. They are currently hiring due to growth.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new provider will see an average of 16 to 24 patients per day, depending upon types of appointments scheduled. The provider will be supported by a dedicated clinical assistant and administrative / charting time is built into the daily schedule.

The duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- perform physical examinations and patient assessments
- obtain patient medical histories
- manage patient health and wellness issues
- coordinate care
- perform routine health maintenance
- provide preventive health services
- order laboratory and diagnostic procedures as needed
- prescribe medications as needed
- review lab results and propose plans of action according to results
- counsel and educate patients and families
- assist in overall patient quality management

The practice sees patients from adolescents to geriatrics; the majority of patients are adult and geriatric. While the practice accepts all major insurances, they see a high volume of Medicare and Medi-Cal patients.

The practice uses the AthenaHealth EHR.

Occasional weekend shifts are required; there are no on-call responsibilities.


REQUIREMENTS:
- California NP or PA license
- DEA
- board certification (PA-C or NP-C)
- no experience required
