Hospitalist PA Locums Job in Vermont | Monday-Friday 9am-6pm | Beginning December 2026 - Ongoing | Assignment #117211
-- Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days (pending timely VT state license)
-- In-person stay in the unit/hospital during the shift
-- No call coverage
-- VT license (or willing to obtain)
-- 2-3 years of hospitalist work preferred inpatient/hospitalist adult medicine experience
-- Clean background with no malpractice or license issues
-- NPDB within 30 days at offer
-- Ventilator management - Preferred
-- Management of step-down level patients
-- Strong case management team to support discharge process of medical patients + overnight hospitalist MD team
-- Average patient volume: 8-10 patients per day
-- EMR: Cerner Community Works with AI scribe support

-- Acute Care APRN and all required certifications for PA-- VT license (or willing to obtain)
-- 2-3 years of hospitalist work preferred inpatient/hospitalist adult medicine experience
-- Clean background with no malpractice or license issues
-- NPDB within 30 days at offer
Required Procedures / Skills
-- Respond to codes and rapid responses-- Ventilator management - Preferred
Assignment Details
-- Patient acuity: Observation/inpatient floor level of care and intermediate level of care; ability to manage stabilization of critically ill patient and arrange for transport to tertiary care level-- Management of step-down level patients
-- Strong case management team to support discharge process of medical patients + overnight hospitalist MD team
-- Average patient volume: 8-10 patients per day
-- EMR: Cerner Community Works with AI scribe support
