Hospitalist Physician Assistant (PA) – Brattleboro, VT

- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 6 pm
- Shift: Daytime, in-hospital presence
- Hours/Week: 40
- Employment Type: Locum
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid VT license preferred
- Experience: 1+ years in hospitalist or inpatient settings

What You’ll Do:
- Respond to codes and rapid response calls
- Manage ventilator and step-down patients
- Provide care for adult inpatient and observation cases
- Stabilize critically ill patients and coordinate transport to higher-level facilities
- Document clinical activities using Cerner Community Works with AI scribe support
- Collaborate with nursing, ED, and surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Support discharge planning with case management team
What You Need:
- Active Vermont State License (or eligible)
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient/hospitalist experience
- Strong clinical skills in patient stabilization and ventilator management preferred
- Ability to handle high-acuity adult patients
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
