An established healthcare facility in Rochester, New York is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join its Hospitalist team for night shift coverage. This role focuses on providing high-quality inpatient care to hospitalized patients in a collaborative clinical environment.
The Physician Assistant will work closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to manage patient care, perform assessments, and coordinate treatment plans. This opportunity is ideal for providers looking to expand their experience in hospital medicine while working in a supportive inpatient care setting.

Job Responsibilities
• Perform patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations
• Develop and implement treatment plans with supervising physicians
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
• Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
• Ensure continuity of care during overnight hospital coverage
Qualifications
• Active State Medical License (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in Hospital Medicine or Inpatient Care preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
• Ability to work independently in overnight coverage settings
Working Hours
• 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Start Date: May 1, 2026
• 24-hour call coverage as needed
• Standard scheduling (no block scheduling)
