Hospital Internal Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
Location: Phoenix, AZ

Position Overview
This Advanced Practice Provider position supports a high-acuity Hospital Internal Medicine service caring for clinically complex patients across the medical/surgical and progressive care units. The APP works collaboratively with physicians and other APPs to deliver comprehensive inpatient care, with a clinical focus that includes hematology, oncology, and transplant medicine.

Clinical Responsibilities
* Perform admissions, daily hospital rounds, discharges, and inpatient consultations
* Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
* Provide care to patients in medical/surgical and progressive care units
* Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic studies
* Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments
* Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
* Participate in performance improvement, education, and research activities
Schedule
* Full-time position
* 12-hour shifts
* Rotating daytime shifts, swing shifts, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
* One to three years of inpatient clinical experience required
* Hospital Internal Medicine experience preferred
* New graduates will not be considered
Nurse Practitioner
* Master’s-prepared graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
* Current Arizona RN and APRN license
* Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certification required
Physician Assistant
* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
* Current NCCPA certification
* Registration with the Arizona State Board of Medical Practice
Additional Requirements
* BLS and ACLS certification required
* DEA registration required
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated leadership ability
* Flexibility with scheduling and workload demands
* Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced inpatient environment
* Experience with electronic medical records preferred
