NP HOSPITALIST OPPORTUNITY – One hour oustide Houston!
Location: Texas
Hospital: CHI St. Luke’s Health Memorial – Livingston
Beds: 66 | ICU: 10 (Open ICU)
EMR: Paragon
Nearest Airport: Houston, TX
Position: Nurse Practitioner – Hospital Medicine
Accepting: FNP & ACNP Only
Shift: Nights 7p–7a
Model: 1 Night APP | 1 Day MD
Average Census: 10–12
Night Admissions: ~4 per shift
Responsibilities: Night (APP):

Manage ICU and floor patients
-
Accept transfers
-
Cross coverage for hospital
-
Rapid response participation
-
Respond to codes (supported by ED for procedures)
Requirements
-
Active NP license (FNP or ACNP)
-
Certifications: BLS & ACLS
-
No procedures required (No intubations, lines, LPs, etc.)
-
Board Status: BC/BE
-
Credentialing: 90
Specialty Support On-Site
Cardiology, Pulmonology, Neurology, General Surgery (limited), Radiology, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Hem/Onc, Orthopedics, Urology, Psychiatry, and others.
Orientation
-
Completed after full privileges
-
Paragon EMR training required (virtual option available)

Program Manager coordinates all orientation steps
