Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide nocturnist med surg coverage across multiple hospital sites
- Manage admissions and patient care during night shifts, with acuity ranging from low to high
- Operate independently at critical access hospitals without on-site staff support
- Utilize Meditech, CPSI, Epic, and Cerner EMR systems as required by the facility
- Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers at trauma locations
- Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and best practices
Additional Information
- Hospitalist experience required
- Must have an active Illinois license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency with Meditech, CPSI, Cerner, and Epic EMRs preferred
- Ability to work solo in critical access environments with limited specialty coverage
