Adfinitas Health has a Full Time opening for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our Hospitalist team at University of Maryland Capital Region in Largo, Maryland.
Position Details
- Our hospitalist team provides inpatient care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge.
- Heart & Vascular Institute with dedicated cardiac intensive care unit
- Designated Stroke Center
- Level II Trauma Center
- 2 Helipads including one large enough to accommodate Marine One
- 205 licensed beds in private rooms
- 32 Bed intensive care unit
- Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs
- Must have a Minimum of 18 months acute experience as an advanced practice provider in hospitalist or similar position. Must also be a graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program and carry an active Maryland state license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration
