Envision Physician services is hiring a nocturnist Nurse Practitioner or Physican Assistant at Baptist Health System's brand new hospital opening in June 2024!

*Internal Medicine / Hospitalist experience required - no new grads

Position Profile:

  • 100 beds
  • 6 ORs
  • 2 Cath Labs
  • Special procedure suites
  • Large emergency department
  • An entire floor dedicated to women's services
  • 2 physicians on during the day (48 hours of coverage daily)
  • 1 Advanced Practice Provider at night (12 hours of coverage at night)
  • Open ICU/ Intensivist on staff
  • Procedures are done by Intensivist
  • W2 status with Medical, Dental, 401K, CME reimbursement, Malpractice with Tail coverage

Baptist Health System has a new exciting development for the Westover Hills community in San Antonio! The announcement of the upcoming Westover Hills Baptist Hospital, alongside the Baptist Health System's services, represents a substantial advancement in healthcare support for the area. The comprehensive campus plan, which includes medical office buildings and an ambulatory surgical center alongside the acute care hospital, reflects a commitment to offering a range of healthcare options to residents. The five-story, 100-bed hospital will span 255,000 square feet and feature emergency, imaging, lab, obstetric, surgical and inpatient services. There will also be space designated for administrative and support departments. All patient rooms will be located on the second through fourth floors and the facility’s infrastructure will be capable of supporting an additional two floors for future growth.

The development's scale and scope suggest a significant investment in the community's well-being, and the potential for future expansion indicates a long-term commitment to meeting the area's healthcare needs. With construction well underway, the anticipated opening of the acute care hospital will be June 2024.
