Schedule:
- 12 Hr Nights 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., rotating, weekends and holidays with additional on call responsibilities.
- Two or more years of work experience as a Physician Assistant in General Surgery as part of a patient population mix
- Would need experience with I&D, chest tubes and wound care.
- Provide coverage for inpatient floors and consult patients for specialties of General Surgery, Vascular, Plastics, Trauma, Thoracic, etc. They would take consults in ED.
- EMR: EPIC
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Current unencumbered Physician Assistant License in the state of CT. (Must obtain before start of employment).
- NCCPA Certification
- ACLS preferred
