TeamHealth is hiring a full-time nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to work in a skilled nursing facility environment in the Seattle area rounding on patients 5 days per week. Our compensation is a productivity-based model (Fee for Service) that offers you control to maximize your income potential. Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $122,000 to $142,000 annually. This full-time role is benefit eligible.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform primary care in a skilled nursing facility setting for short term and long-term patients
- Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
- Order and interpret lab results
- Prescribe and monitor medications
- Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers
- Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related
- Critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with the healthcare team
- Strong clinical skills, work ethic, and ability to work independently
- Adaptability and flexibility to address the fluctuations that occur during the aging process and with chronic illness
- Empathy, compassion and ability to connect and engage with your patients
- 1 or more years of experience in primary care
- Post-acute care experience a plus but not required
- Active and unrestricted nurse practitioner license in the state of Washington
- Active and unrestricted DEA for the state of Washington
