A hospital in Belfast, ME is seeking a Hospitalist PA to provide coverage starting mid October, through March 2024. Belfast is 35 miles south of Bangor, ME.
Willing to consider varying amount of availability, as long as it matches some of the 3-day blocks needed. Please apply and you will be sent the full list of dates needed.

  • Pay Rate: $120/hour
  • Schedule: 7a-7p, days, 3x12
  • Weekend Requirements: every 3rd weekend
  • Expenses Covered: Malpractice, Lodging, Travel
Job Details:

  • Patient Demographic: Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric
  • Required Procedures: EKG Interpretation, ER Admissions, History and Physicals, Pre-Op Assessment, Areas of Rounding, House Codes - Rapid Response Team, Critical Access Hospital - They round on SCU 4 bed unit and Med-Surg 24 bed unit, 96-hour rule for discharges due to critical access, Have HICUITY Available (tele critical care providers).
Requirements:
  • 2+ yrs experience as a hospitalist taking an assignment (not only an admitter)
  • EPIC experience
  • Active ME License, NCCPA Certified
  • Clean malpractice/background for quick credentialing
