A hospital in Richmond, VA is seeking a Hospitalist Physician Assistant to support the Orthopedic Surgery team, starting in September, through December.
  • Pay Rate: $115/hour (on 1099)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p) w/ call (nights/weekends)
  • Initial Duration: Sept-Dec with option to extend
  • Expenses Covered: Malpractice, Travel/Lodging
Job Details:
  • Practice Setting: Orthopedic Surgical Inpatient Units
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day: 20
  • Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
  • Trauma Level/Designation: Level II
  • Provider will not work autonomously
  • Every PA has a provider oversight
  • Patient Age Demographic: Adult, Geriatric
Job Requirements/Procedures:
*Willing to consider candidates with experience in some or all procedures.
  • Surgical In Patient
  • Non-Invasive Vent Management (bipap/cpap)
  • Ventilation Management","Intubation (ETT/INT)
  • Chest Tube Insertion
