A clinic in New York is looking for a geriatrics physician assistant who is able to provide locum tenens coverage for approximately three months beginning in mid-May with a high chance of extension. On a typical day, the locum tenens PA can expect to see between twelve and eighteen patients aged 85+ for a variety of cases in a nursing home setting including in-patient, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, no suturing, ER care and rounding. This opening has full-time hours where the locum will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Weekends are available as well, but not required. This facility uses Practice Fusion EMR. 2+ years experience with geriatrics is preferred, but not required.
