Locums – Potsdam, New York, NP/PA Gastroenterology Opening

Clinical Role

• Start November 23, 2026
• Full-time Gastroenterology coverage
• Gastroenterology/Internal Medicine practice setting
• Evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal and related medical conditions
• Refer complex or high-priority cases to collaborating physicians as appropriate
• Coordinate specialty consultations when indicated

Schedule & Coverage

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm

Practice Model & Clinical Expectations

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered Gastroenterology care
• Develop and manage treatment plans
• Prescribe and monitor medications as appropriate
• Provide patient and family education regarding conditions, preventive care, treatments, and medications
• Provide appropriate medical and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate documentation for evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, procedures, referrals, and consultations
• Maintain appropriate coding and documentation compliance

Support & Systems

• Epic experience required

Requirements & Credentialing

• Active New York license required
• AHA BLS required
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Strong Gastroenterology knowledge and experience required
