We invite you to become part of our collaborative team, where youll work alongside experienced GI physicians, skilled Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, and a dedicated Dietitianall supported by a robust, integrated health system.

Enjoy strong teamwork with Advanced Practice Providers who facilitate patient follow-ups, inpatient care, care coordination, and ensure seamless continuity of care. Our practice is closely connected with hospital services, giving you direct access to advanced diagnostics and specialty support.

Schedule Highlights:

• Clinic Hours: Primarily weekdays, offering a healthy work-life balance
• Call Rotation: 1:5 (one week every fifth week), with shared responsibilities across the GI team

Position Highlights:

• Deliver gastroenterology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
• Preference for candidates with experience in managing biologic therapies and liver-related conditions
• Provide care through a blend of in-person and virtual visits
• Clinical mix: approximately 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient
• Manage a clinic volume of about 10-12 patients per day
• Benefit from a fully integrated Epic EMR system
• Opportunity for outreach to the Janesville area

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of a nationally accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program or
• Graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing

EXPERIENCE:

• 1 year healthcare or clinical experience which includes clinical hours in a physician assistant training program or
• 1 year experience as a nurse practitioner or 2 years registered nurse experience in an acute care setting

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) AND
• Physician Assistant - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services AND
• Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

OR

• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) AND
• Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) Multi-State - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services OR
• RN State Compact License

AND

• One of the following:
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC) - American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Or
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Adult) (ACNPC) - American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) Or
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Adult-Gerontology) (ACNPG-AG) - American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) Or
  • Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC) - American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Or
  • Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Or
  • Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGPCNP-BC) - American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Or
  • Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification (ANP-BC) - American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Or
