I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out about an excellent Gastroenterology NP/PA locum opportunity at a Specialty Clinic in San Diego, CA, with flexibility to support Otay Mesa or San Marcos locations as needed.
Position Details
- Role: Gastroenterology NP or PA
- Location: Specialty Center – San Diego, CA 92111
- Start: ASAP (6 months preferred; 3-month minimum considered)
- Setting: Clinic only – no procedures
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Patient Load: ~18/day
- EMR: EPIC
Responsibilities
- GI-focused consults
- Medication management
- Review/communicate pathology results
- Inbox + follow-up care
- Provide GI guidance within primary care model
- Prior GI experience required; no procedures
Requirements
- Active CA NP/PA license (no licensing candidates)
- Board-certified NP or PA + BLS (AHA)
- Prior GI experience
- Vaccination preferred (waivers considered)
- Credentialing ~90 days
Compensation
- Pay rate discussed by phone
- 100% malpractice covered
- Weekly pay
