Gastroenterology & Hepatology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Location: Mankato, MN - Minneapolis 80m

Position Overview
This position joins a busy, growing community-based gastroenterology practice providing both outpatient clinic and inpatient care. The Advanced Practice Provider works collaboratively with GI physicians while also practicing independently to meet patient needs. This role includes direct patient care and telemedicine services and offers exposure across gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition-focused care.
Key Responsibilities
* Obtain gastroenterology-specific histories and physicals
* Order, interpret, diagnose, and communicate diagnostic results
* Develop and implement individualized care plans
* Provide patient education related to GI and hepatology conditions
* Deliver follow-up care for gastroenterology patients
* Provide specialized care across gastroenterology, nutrition, and hepatology
* Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams

Compensation & Benefits
* Salary range: $121,014 – $168,875 annually

Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner
* Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
* Active Minnesota RN and APRN license
* Board certification as ANP, FNP, or ACNP
Physician Assistant
* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
* NCCPA certification
* Active Minnesota PA license
Additional Qualifications
* Experience strongly preferred; new graduates considered
* Ability to practice independently and collaboratively
* Strong patient assessment and diagnostic skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
* BLS certification required
* ACLS certification required within one year of hire
