Advanced Practice Provider – Gastroenterology & Hepatology (NP or PA)
Location: Scottsdale, AZ - Phoenix 10m

Setting: Outpatient and Procedural Care
Position Overview
This position supports a high-acuity gastroenterology and hepatology practice focused on patient-centered, evidence-based care. The APP works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, providing direct clinical care, supporting procedural services, and contributing to efficient clinic operations and patient education initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based gastroenterology and hepatology care in outpatient and procedural settings
* Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nursing, and administrative partners
* Perform comprehensive evaluations, ongoing management, and follow-up care
* Manage inbox communications, test results, and care coordination in a timely manner
* Prepare charts, records, and orders prior to clinic visits to support efficient workflow
* Facilitate patient transitions back to referring providers as appropriate
* Provide individualized patient education during visits
* Design and lead group education sessions to support patient understanding and self-management

Qualifications
Experience Requirement
* Minimum of 2 years of NP or PA experience in Gastroenterology
* New graduates will not be considered for this role
Nurse Practitioner
* Master’s degree from an accredited NP program
* Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) certification
* Active or eligible Arizona RN and APRN licensure
Physician Assistant
* Graduate of an accredited PA program
* NCCPA certification
* Active or eligible Arizona PA licensure
Additional Requirements
* BLS and ACLS certification
* DEA registration
* Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal skills
