Nurse Practitioner – Gastroenterology Opportunity in Rome, NY
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a growing Gastroenterology practice in Rome, New York. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive, patient-centered team delivering high-quality care to the community.
Position Highlights:
Full-time, hospital-employed role
Competitive salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year
Outpatient practice with a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and perform physical examinations
Diagnose, treat, and manage gastrointestinal conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians
Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests
Prescribe and manage appropriate treatments, medications, and therapies
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and preventive care
Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
Current Nurse Practitioner license in New York, in good standing
Certification as an NP required; Gastroenterology experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered
Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
